ONE VISIT DENTAL IMPLANTS

Updated On Tuesday, February 19, 2019 06:05:07 PM

Temporary crowns and second visits for crowns are now usually unnecessary thanks to the same day crown technology. We offer this exciting one-visit crown technology in our office, adding higher convenience to the process of getting a crown. The waiting time in between your procedure and when you get your long-term crown is eliminated.

The same day crown technology is an instrument that permits ceramic restorations (veneers, inlays, onlays, and crowns) to be carried out in one visit instead of 2. The computer collaborates with a digital camera allowing the dental practitioner to make digital impressions without the discomfort of bulky impression material.

After taking the picture the computer takes over and mills your custom crown right away so that we can cement your brand-new crown that very same day. The outcomes we see are fantastic. With the same day crowns, the fit, strength, and aesthetics of the ceramic restorations are excellent.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used for a full scope of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

Dental Bonding (Composite)

Bonding is a treatment in which we apply a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be utilized in certain situations where a tooth has been damaged or ended up being stained. These are normally small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this relatively affordable methods rather than through a more expensive dental procedure.

Here's How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to modify the alignment of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material adheres to the surface area. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is shaped and polished to get a glossy finish as a last step.
