Thanks to ingenious modern day innovations, we are proud to present the capability to provide you with same day crowns - that's right, a brand-new crown in just one visit! Here's how it works.

Step One, high resolution digital 3-D impressions are taken with a small camera, a unique camera built just for this purpose.

Second, the new software evaluates the whole image and uses the results to compute a variety of exceptional restoration possibilities. Next those possibilities are evaluated and refined by the dentist and the final restoration strategy is selected.

Step 3 your new crown is made by the cerec device right in our office and put in your mouth, all in one appointment!

If you would like to know more about the same day crown treatment, call our office and we would be happy to help you.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of areas requiring restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used in a wide range of indications: posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and partial crowns.

The Conversation For Today Is:

Dentures (Dental)

There are various types of dentures, but they share their common function. They replace teeth that have actually become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is big enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. No one enjoys losing their natural teeth, however you can still eat and talk regularly.

The entire mouth is analyzed and a determination is made about which teeth will have to be removed, and which will remain. The loose teeth are then removed. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth stay in the mouth, depending upon the type. There is an adjustment period after dentures are put in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. But once accustomed to the dentures, all the normal capability and appearance return and one simply carries on as usual. Commonly implants can be used to further stabilize the dentures.

It is necessary to note that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a major lifestyle change when compared to natural teeth. Dentures affect the kind of food you are able to eat, your self-esteem in social circumstances, and even your self-confidence.

A Few Reasons For Considering A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the exact same arch

  • Restore chewing capability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other procedures

An upper full denture will often feel much better than a lower complete denture. In order to considerably enhance the fit of a lower full denture, we regularly suggest using dental implants as a retentive mechanism. Two dental implants placed in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and significantly improve comfort. Sometimes, the implants can even be placed in the jaw after a denture has actually been in use for multiple years.
