Obtain A Perfect Smile With Same Day Crowns

Same Day Crowns resolve visual needs, bring back tooth function, and enhance the overall health of your mouth. In cases where teeth have huge broken down fillings, a crown can protect and preserve the rest of the natural tooth.

To enhance your smile, a metal-free, tooth-colored same day crown can also replace an older metal or porcelain crown. Following root canal treatment, a crown is typically put over the remaining tooth structure to protect aesthetic and tooth function.

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of a lot of patients, there are multiple methods to whiten teeth. The most popular technique is using a home tooth bleaching system that will lighten teeth considerably. Since tooth bleaching only works on natural tooth enamel, it is very important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after whitening so they will match the newly bleached teeth.

Most dentists use a number of methods: customizeded tray bleaching, professional strength white strips, and in-office whitening.

The tray method involves having impressions taken, which the laboratory produces into custom vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The entire procedure takes about a week of day-to-day use. Three different strengths of gel may be utilized, however, the higher the strength, the higher the probability of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray technique is advised for terribly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take numerous months of use to see substantial color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a extremely fast and practical whitening procedure. The visit is approximately one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our patients like this treatment since it is so easy and quick!

Tooth bleaching is not permanent. A touch-up might be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays ought to be used every couple of months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (excessive fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
