SAME DAY CROWN

Why Choose Single Day Dental Crowns?

There are many advantages of single visit crowns over standard crown technology.

  • Time: Same day crowns are made in one appointment, conserving you significant time away from your job and family.

  • Convenience: With same day crowns, there is no need for a temporary crown, which removes significant potential discomfort and inconvenience of a lost short-term restoration. Only one appointment means only one injection, or no injections if the tooth was formerly treated with a root canal. No conventional impressions resulting in no gagging.

  • Aesthetics: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic materials of this new technology restores your teeth to their natural durability, beauty, and function and carefully match the composition of natural tooth structure.

  • Strength: Milled ceramic is tougher than the standard method of layering and pressing, so your smile will remain beautiful for years!

  • Fillings: Same day crown material and innovation can also be used for fillings. Since they are constructed out of porcelain, they are more durable than white composite fillings. They are a lot more aesthetic than mercury containing silver fillings and stronger because of bonding technology.

If you have anymore concerns about same day crowns or porcelain crowns, please feel free to call our office today. We will address any questions you have and you can make an appointment to consult with our dentist face to face.

Dental Dentures

There are different types of dentures, however they share their common function. They replace teeth that have actually become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is great enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. Nobody enjoys losing their natural teeth, however you can still eat and talk regularly.

The entire mouth is analyzed and a determination is made regarding which teeth will need to be removed, and which will stay. The loose teeth are then removed. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth stay in the mouth, depending on the type. There is an adjustment period after dentures are placed in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. But once accustomed to the dentures, all the normal capability and appearance return and one simply carries on as usual. Often implants can be used to further support the dentures.

It is very important to note that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a significant lifestyle change when compared to natural teeth. Dentures affect the type of food you have the ability to eat, your self-confidence in social scenarios, as well as your self-confidence.

Reasons For Getting A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the same arch

  • Restore chewing ability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other procedures

An upper full denture will almost always feel better than a lower complete denture. In order to significantly improve the fit of a lower full denture, we often suggest utilizing dental implants as a retentive mechanism. Two dental implants positioned in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and substantially enhance comfort. Often, the implants can even be positioned in the jaw after a denture has been in use for numerous years.
