Below are some of the benefits of same day crown technology, which crafts excellent same day dental crowns and same day inlays and onlays.

By far the greatest advantage of same day crown dental restoration innovation is the time you'll save. Traditionally, getting a dental restoration will include two different appointments to your dentist's office that are weeks apart. Numerous visits} are required because the last dental restoration needs to be crafted at an off-site dental lab. With same day crown technology, dental restorations are crafted in-office. There's no need to get numerous days off work or reorganize your schedule. One appointment is all you'll need.

They Are Custom-Made For You

The same day crown machine uses the most recent innovation to produce a digital impression of your teeth. Using this 3 dimensional digital model, this device then creates a custom-made restoration that fits perfectly with the damaged tooth and your surrounding teeth.

Same Day Crowns Are Long Lasting

Although same day crown restorations are crafted and developed on-site, the restorations themselves are extremely long lasting. In fact, the restorations that are crafted by these machines are approximately three times as strong as the dental restorations that are crafted at a dental laboratory.

They Look Real

In addition to their strength and durability, same day crown dental restorations blend in perfectly with your smile. The inlays and onlays from the same day crown device have a sort of chameleon effect. When in place, they take on the color and unique shadings of the fixed tooth, meaning that your smile will look terrific and, more significantly, look natural.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. Today's Topic Will Be:

Porcelain Tooth Veneers

Veneers are a very thin pieces of durable, tooth shaped, porcelain that are customizeded (for shape and color) by a professional dental lab. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to produce a lovely and appealing smile.

Veneers can completely improve your teeth and smile. They can typically be alternatives to crowns and the perfect solution in treating lots of cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

As with many dental restorations, veneers might one day need replacement; however, they are still very resilient and will last years, giving you a long lasting, stunning smile.

How Are Veneers Set?

Veneers are a dental procedure in which a covering is put over the outside (noticeable area) of the tooth. Veneers are normally only done to the part of the teeth that are visible when talking or grinning. The treatment can be direct or indirect.

The direct technique usually involves placing composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This technique is generally referred to as bonding.

The indirect technique normally involves two visits because the veneers will be made at a dental lab. At the very first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are offered a short-term covering. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the lab, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The laboratory fabricated veneers are typically made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are really esthetic.

The benefit of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is removed, and the treatment is generally less uncomfortable. Veneers are not advised for teeth that have huge fillings or little tooth structure.

You will receive care guidelines for your veneers. Appropriate brushing, flossing and routine dental visits will aid in the life of your brand-new and lovely veneers.
