Why Are These Crowns Called Same Day Crowns?

This state-of-the-art innovation allows your dental practitioner to take accurate pictures of your tooth and use those images to design, manufacture, and position a porcelain or zirconia crown in a single appointment. Same day crowns offer exceptional convenience, value, and accuracy to our patients.

How Does The Same Day Crown Technology Work?

The same day crown process includes 3 basic steps. 1st, your dental practitioner uses 3D imaging to take extremely precise photos of your tooth and the surrounding structures. Next, they then download these images into a computer and, using computer-assisted design software, designs your custom-fitted crown. 3rd, your dentist will send out the design to their in-office accuracy milling device which produces the crown from a block of dental porcelain or zirconia. Once they stain and glaze the crown for additional strength and esthetics, your dental practitioner will place it on your tooth.

Exactly What Are The Benefits Of Same Day Crowns?

We only use dental porcelain and zirconia to create our same day crowns. These metal-free restorations provide incomparable strength, sturdiness, chip and stain resistance, and natural appeal.

Precision-fitted same day crowns need less tooth preparation and preserve more of your tooth structure.

Conventional crowns require two office visits. With same day crowns, you can come into our dentist's office for a visit and leave with a beautifully fixed tooth.

You can prevent the inconvenience and potential threats connected with uncomfortable short-term crowns.

Today's Topic Is About:

Dental Dentures

There are various types of dentures, however they share their common function. They replace teeth that have become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is great enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. Nobody enjoys losing their natural teeth, but you can still eat and talk regularly.

The entire mouth is examined and a decision is made as to which teeth will need to be removed, and which will remain. The loose teeth are then extracted. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth stay in the mouth, depending on the type. There is an adjustment time after dentures are put in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. But once accustomed to the dentures, all the normal functionality and look return and one simply carries on as usual. Typically implants can be used to further support the dentures.

It is essential to note that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a significant lifestyle change when as compared to natural teeth. Dentures affect the kind of food you have the ability to eat, your self-esteem in social situations, and even your self-confidence.

A Couple Reasons For Considering A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the same arch

  • Restore chewing ability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other procedures

An upper full denture will almost always feel better than a lower full denture. In order to significantly enhance the fit of a lower complete denture, we often suggest using dental implants as a retentive mechanism. Two dental implants put in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and considerably improve comfort. In some cases, the implants can even be positioned in the jaw after a denture has actually been in use for multiple years.
