Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns implied coming into the dental practitioner's office at least two times. The very first visit included getting an impression of your tooth and a temporary crown. Then, a few weeks later, a second check-up permitted the short-term crown to be removed and a brand-new long-term crown to be positioned on your tooth. We use the latest innovation making dental work easier for you and your day to day schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a state-of-the-art same day crown innovation to produce ceramic onlays and crowns that fit perfectly, in simply one check-up with a little camera to create a 3D image of the tooth that has to be fixed. This means a physical mold, which is undesirable and time consuming, is no longer necessary.

Using CAD/CAM software, We develop a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling machine. This technology can create the brand-new restoration in as little as 15 minutes.

The restoration is adhered to your tooth using a bonding product, and the brand-new addition will match your natural teeth so nobody will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today to find out more about same day crowns technology, and take care of those problems you might have been putting off.

Today We Will Be Going Over:

Root Canal

Root canal treatment (also referred to as root canal therapy or endodontic therapy) is essential when a cavity is allowed, through neglect, to reach all the way to the root pulp. (Regular cleanings and checkups prevent and find problems early). Often deep restorations or trauma to a tooth may also trigger the nerve to be damaged to the point it requires root canal therapy. When this takes place, the pulp becomes infected, and can even extend through the root tip and begin to eat away at the surrounding bone (this is an abscess).

By the time the pulp is infected it must be treated, and can not recover by itself. It can even deteriorate the entire immune system. This is dangerous, and might be extremely painful. Symptoms that the pulp has actually ended up being infected might include sensitivity to hot/cold or sugary foods, discomfort, swelling, discomfort to biting or pressure, and a bad taste in the mouth. In some cases, however, no signs appear and the person is unaware of any issue till a checkup.

A root canal is then carried out to clean out the infected tooth pulp, and decontaminate the canals of the tooth. The only other treatment would be to extract the tooth. When the infection is resolved, the canal(s) are filled in to prevent any further infection. Generally a core build-up and crown is recommended for bring back a tooth that has actually had root canal treatment.
