Same Day Crown Restorations
CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.
CEREC can be used for a full range of indications: veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns and anterior crowns.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.
Finding issues with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, expensive treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mostly used to detect:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The concern of exposure to excess radiation is removed.
Large on-screen X-rays make patient communication more efficient. The instant observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.
Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the physician to see pictures of the teeth in higher resolution on a large format for much easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the patient. The process we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available immediately after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent establishing and mounting x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also allows us to send and get your images digitally for consultation that can be provided to you quickly.
