If you have a fractured or busted tooth, are experiencing discomfort when chewing or exposed to hot or cold temperatures, or wish to eliminate unsightly metal crowns or fillings, then dental crowns might be a great alternative for you. Dental Crowns cover the outter surface area of the affected tooth, adding resilience and stability to it.

Same-day dental crowns are an option that we provide on a case by case basis to patients who would gain from the treatment. They allow clients to come to our office and leave within a couple hours with their final dental crown in place that same day. This gets rid of the need to have a short-term crown placed then another appointment scheduled for the positioning of the permanent crown.

Our Same-Day Crowns are made with our new innovation that scans the mouth to get the proper measurements of your tooth and surrounding teeth, and then makes your crown right there in the office. These restorations are really strong and long lasting and constructed of the highest quality porcelain available. In some cases, a gold crown might be recommended for your posterior teeth (back teeth) if you grind or clench your teeth a lot.

Gold crowns are different from porcelain crowns, and the expense may differ between the two and you might want to talk about your budget too with the your dentist. Your dental practitioner will go over with you the types of crowns available and give you a suggestion based on your particular scenario.

Call us to arrange a complimentary cosmetic consultation. We look forward to meeting you.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a full range of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

Today's Topic Will Be About:

Dental Bonding (Composite)

Bonding is a treatment in which we use a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be used in certain circumstances where a tooth has been broken or become stained. These are normally small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this relatively affordable ways rather than through a more costly dental procedure.

Here's How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to alter the alignment of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material sticks to the surface. Then the material itself is placed on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is shaped and polished to get a shiny finish as a last step.
