Crowns In One Day - No More Temporaries!

Is Your Schedule Too Hectic For 2 Dental Visits?

Now we can quickly fix damaged teeth in just one visit to restore broken teeth with natural-looking ceramic crowns. In comparison to typical dentistry, which takes two complete visits to make a dental crown.

  • Less time in the dentist's chair!

  • No more unpleasant impressions

  • No waiting weeks for your long-term crown

  • No need to get a temporary crown

  • Digitally matches the color of your tooth

Exactly What Is A Dental Crown?

A crown is a cap made to cover a tooth with the function of restoring it to its natural size and shape or to enhance its appearance. To get ready for the crown, dental practitioners drill to get rid of the decayed area and also form the tooth to get ready for the crown for that portion which lies around and above the gum line.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital imagery of areas requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.

CEREC can be used in a wide range of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

Today We Will Be Going Over:

Root Canal (Endodontic Treatment)

Root canal treatment (also described as root canal therapy or endodontic therapy) is essential when a cavity is allowed, through neglect, to reach all the way to the root pulp. (Regular cleanings and checkups prevent and detect issues early). In some cases deep restorations or trauma to a tooth may also trigger the nerve to be damaged to the point it needs root canal therapy. Once this takes place, the pulp becomes infected, and can even extend through the root tip and begin to eat away at the surrounding bone (this is an abscess).

By the time the pulp is infected it must be treated, and can not heal by itself. It can even weaken the whole immune system. This is dangerous, and might be really agonizing. Signs that the pulp has ended up being infected may consist of sensitivity to hot/cold or sweets, pain, swelling, pain to biting or pressure, and a bad taste in the mouth. Sometimes, however, no symptoms appear and the person is unaware of any issue until a checkup.

A root canal is then performed to clear out the infected tooth pulp, and sanitize the canals of the tooth. The only other treatment would be to extract the tooth. As soon as the infection is dealt with, the canal(s) are filled in to prevent any further infection. Normally a core build-up and crown is suggested for recovering a tooth that has actually had root canal treatment.
