Same Day Crown Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of locations requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.
CEREC can be used in a wide range of indications: veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns and anterior crowns.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.
Detecting issues with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, expensive treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mostly utilized to spot:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The concern of exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.
Huge on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.
Digital radiography has significantly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It allows the patient and the physician to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a big format for easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available quickly after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also allows us to send and get your images digitally for consultation that can be provided to you rapidly.
