  • Aesthetic appeals: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic materials of this new innovation restores your teeth to their natural strength, charm, and function and carefully match the composition of natural tooth structure.

  • Durability: Milled ceramic is stronger than the standard technique of layering and pressing, so your smile will remain lovely for many years!

The Conversation Of The Day Will Be:

Endodontic Treatment (Root Canal)

Root canal treatment (also referred to as root canal therapy or endodontic therapy) is needed when a cavity is allowed, through neglect, to reach all the way to the root pulp. (Regular cleanings and checkups prevent and find problems early). In some cases deep restorations or trauma to a tooth might also cause the nerve to be harmed to the point it requires root canal treatment. Once this happens, the pulp becomes infected, and can even extend through the root tip and begin to eat away at the surrounding bone (this is an abscess).

By the time the pulp is infected it has to be treated, and can not heal by itself. It can even deteriorate the whole immune system. This is dangerous, and may be really unpleasant. Signs that the pulp has ended up being infected may include sensitivity to hot/cold or sweets, pain, swelling, discomfort to biting or pressure, and a bad taste in the mouth. Often, however, no symptoms appear and the person is unaware of any issue until a checkup.

A root canal is then performed to clear out the infected tooth pulp, and decontaminate the canals of the tooth. The only other treatment would be to extract the tooth. When the infection is dealt with, the canal(s) are filled in to prevent any further infection. Generally a core build-up and crown is recommended for bring back a tooth that has actually had root canal therapy.
