Same Day Tooth Restorations
CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.
CEREC can be used for a full range of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.
Discovering problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, pricey treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mostly used to identify:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.
Big on-screen X-rays make patient communication more efficient. The instant observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.
Digital radiography has significantly improved the practice of dentistry. It allows the client and the doctor to see pictures of the teeth in higher resolution on a large format for easier detection of problems, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the patient. The process we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available instantly after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also enables us to send out and get your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
