Single Visit Crowns

Crowns have long been an effective restorative dentistry option for dentists to take advantage of, but the traditional crown procedure takes two to three visits to finish.

At our practice, though, our dentists and our team can fix broken down teeth in simply a single appointment with same-day crowns. Same day crowns use advanced technology to make the crown preparation procedure simpler, while the same day crown machine actually mills restorations itself using the info we've already gathered to produce the customized restoration you need.

The milling process takes about an hour to complete and can be done while you rest comfortably in our office.

Our restorative dentistry team is ready to revitalize your smile and better your quality of life. Using any of these restorative dentistry services alone or in combination with each other or another service, we are ready to help you to achieve optimum dental health. Please make an appointment to our office today.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital imagery of areas requiring restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used for a wide range of indications: posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and partial crowns.

Today's Topic Is:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of a lot of clients, there are a number of ways to bleach teeth. The most popular method is using a home tooth bleaching system that will bleach teeth considerably. Because tooth bleaching only works on natural tooth enamel, it is very important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after lightening so they will match the recently bleached teeth.

Most dentists use numerous methods: custom made tray lightening, professional strength white strips, and in-office bleaching.

The tray method involves having impressions taken, which the lab makes into customized vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole procedure takes about a week of everyday use. 3 different strengths of gel may be used, however, the higher the strength, the greater the likelihood of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray method is suggested for badly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take multiple months of use to see substantial color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a extremely quick and convenient whitening process. The appointment is approximately one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our clients enjoy this treatment since it is so easy and fast!

Tooth lightening is not permanent. A touch-up might be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays need to be utilized every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of outer tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation throughout tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, and so on).
