We always stay on the cutting-edge for our valued patients!

What Are Same Day Dental Crowns?

It is a technology for fixing broken teeth, and this restoration can be completed in a single appointment at our office. It makes your teeth stronger and more stunning - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the high-grade ceramic material and works with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

During your visit, you and your dental practitioner will talk about the details of the procedure and your dentist will address any concerns you may have relating to the procedure or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dentist will then use a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a unique 3D imaging camera to take a picture of your tooth. Using the new exclusive software, your restoration will be created according to your tooth's suitable form and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to create your restoration from a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using state-of-the-art adhesive dentistry.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to produce your crown.

The Conversation For Today Will Be:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a treatment in which we apply a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be used in certain situations where a tooth has actually been damaged or become stained. These are generally minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this fairly inexpensive means rather than through a more pricey dental treatment.

How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to alter the positioning of the tooth, close spaces in between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material adheres to the surface. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to obtain a glossy finish as a last step.
