Why Are These Crowns Called Same Day Crowns?

This cutting edge innovation enables your dental practitioner to take accurate pictures of your tooth and use those images to design, manufacture, and position a porcelain or zirconia crown in a single appointment. Same day crowns offer exceptional convenience, value, and precision to our patients.

How Does The Same Day Crown Technology Work?

The same day crown process consists of 3 basic steps. 1st, your dental practitioner uses 3D imaging to take highly accurate images of your tooth and the surrounding structures. 2nd, he downloads these images into a computer and, using computer-assisted design software, develops your custom-fitted crown. From there, your dental practitioner will send the design to their in-office precision milling device which creates the crown from a block of dental porcelain or zirconia. Once they stain and glaze the crown for additional strength and esthetics, your dental practitioner will position it on your tooth.

What Are The Benefits Of Same Day Crowns?

We only use dental porcelain and zirconia to create our same day crowns. These metal-free restorations offer incomparable strength, resilience, chip and stain resistance, and natural beauty.

Precision-fitted same day crowns require less tooth prep work and maintain more of your tooth structure.

Standard crowns require 2 office visits. With same day crowns, you can come into our dentist's office for a visit and leave with a beautifully restored tooth.

You can prevent the inconvenience and potential risks connected with ill-fitting temporary crowns.

The Conversation Of The Day Is:

Tooth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the primary aesthetic concern of the majority of clients, there are numerous ways to lighten teeth. The most popular technique is using a home tooth whitening system that will bleach teeth dramatically. Because tooth lightening just works on natural tooth enamel, it is necessary to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after lightening so they will match the newly bleached teeth.

Most dentists use numerous techniques: customizeded tray lightening, professional strength white strips, and in-office lightening.

The tray approach involves having impressions taken, which the lab produces into customized vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole process takes about a week of everyday use. 3 various strengths of gel might be utilized, however, the greater the strength, the greater the probability of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray technique is recommended for badly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take numerous months of use to see significant color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a really fast and hassle-free bleaching procedure. The visit is around one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our clients like this treatment because it is so simple and fast!

Tooth whitening is not permanent. A touch-up may be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays ought to be utilized every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
