Same Day Crown Restorations
CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.
CEREC can be used in a broad scope of indications: veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns and anterior crowns.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.
Finding issues with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, costly procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mainly used to find:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.
Big on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.
Digital radiography has significantly improved the practice of dentistry. It allows the patient and the medical professional to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a large format for much easier detection of issues, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available immediately after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent establishing and installing x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also allows us to send and get your images electronically for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
