We always remain on the cutting-edge for our valued clients!

What Are Single Visit Crowns?

It is a innovation for fixing damaged teeth, and this restoration can be finished in a single visit to our office. It makes your teeth tougher and more gorgeous - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the state-of-the-art ceramic material and works with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

Throughout your appointment, you and your dentist will talk about the details of the procedure and your dentist will address any questions you might have relating to the procedure or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dental practitioner will then apply a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a special 3D imaging camera to take a photo of your tooth. Using the brand-new exclusive software, your restoration will be designed according to your tooth's suitable form and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to create your restoration from a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using advanced adhesive dentistry.

Today We Will Be Discussing:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Detecting issues with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, expensive procedures or surgeries. X-rays are primarily used to find:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Huge on-screen X-rays make patient communication more efficient. The immediate observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.

Digital radiography has significantly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the doctor to see pictures of the teeth in greater resolution on a big format for much easier detection of problems, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available instantly after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent establishing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also allows us to send out and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be provided to you rapidly.
