Single Visit Crowns Near You

Needing any kind of dental work finished can feel like a hassel, but it is necessary to follow up on when it pertains to maintaining your oral health. Some people might put off going to their dental practitioner or having particular dental treatments finished simply because they believe that the experience might use up too much of their time. When it pertains to same day dental crowns that is just not the case, as we can provide our clients with same day dental crowns should they require it.

Although dental crowns are considered along with other procedures that fall under the cosmetic dentistry category, they can help to significantly improve anyone's oral health. Dental crowns are mainly used to fix the size, shape, and function of a tooth. Most commonly, dental crowns are used following a root canal therapy treatment wherein a portion of the tooth mass is eliminated in order to get rid of decayed portions of the tooth. A dental crown is then used to help restore what parts of the tooth were lost so that it can work as it once did, restoring the oral well being of the client.

Often, dental crowns require time to process and are crafted in a laboratory while the client wears a short-term crown in its stead. Now we can offer clients with same day dental crowns! Instead of having to visit us several times prior to restoring your tooth, we can provide you with a crown the very same day that you come in to get one fitted.

If you need a dental crown, you will not have to wait and arrange several appointments. Our staff and dentists will provide you with all of the services that you need in a single appointment to work around your busy schedule. Don't let your dental health go forgotten because you do not have the time. If you want to learn more about same day dental crowns, call us and set up an appointment today.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital imagery of areas requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a full scope of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

Today's Subject Is:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.

Detecting problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, expensive treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mostly utilized to find:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Big on-screen X-rays make client communication more efficient. The instant observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.

Digital radiography has significantly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It allows the client and the doctor to see pictures of the teeth in higher resolution on a huge format for easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the patient. The process we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available instantly after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also allows us to send and get your images electronically for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
