Same Day Crown Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.
CEREC can be used for a broad scope of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

Composite Dental Bonding
Bonding is a procedure where we use a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be used in specific scenarios where a tooth has actually been broken or ended up being stained. These are normally small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this relatively inexpensive ways rather than through a more pricey dental treatment.
Here Is How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to alter the alignment of the tooth, close spaces between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material sticks to the surface. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is shaped and polished to obtain a lustrous finish as a last step.
