ONE DAY DENTAL WORK

Updated On Sunday, December 16, 2018 05:02:12 PM

Thanks to innovative modern technologies, we are proud to introduce the ability to offer you with same day crowns - that's right, a new crown in simply one appointment! Here's how it works.

First, high resolution digital 3-D impressions are taken with a small camera, a unique camera established just for this purpose.

Step 2, the brand-new software assesses the entire image and uses the results to calculate a variety of exceptional restoration possibilities. Next those possibilities are examined and fine-tuned by the dentist and the last restoration plan is selected.

Lastly your new crown is made by the cerec device right in our office and put in your mouth, all in one appointment!

If you wish to understand more about the same day crown treatment, call our office and we would be happy to help you.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital images of areas requiring restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used in a wide scope of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

Today's Discussion Is About:

Ultra-Sonic Cleanings

We use ultrasonic scalers for the majority of adult dental cleanings. These devices utilize ultrasonic vibrations to help breakdown the plaque and calculus on the teeth that trigger gingivitis and gum disease. The ultrasonic cleaners produce tiny bubbles that implode on the surface of the tooth, eliminating microorganisms and getting rid of plaque and tartar in the process. Our instruments use a thin tip to better navigate in the gum pockets to help maintain optimal gingival health.

  • The treatment only uses water, no chemicals are used.

  • It can remove tartar buildup in hard-to-reach locations, with no damage to the tooth enamel.

  • Manual scaling typically uses pressure for cleaning, while the vibration produced by the scaling tip of an ultrasonic scaler is barely noticeable. This makes ultrasonic cleaning appropriate to those with sensitive teeth.

  • The cleaning procedure is much faster than manual scaling making your visit more comfy.

After your teeth have actually been cleaned with the ultrasonic cleaner, your teeth will be hand scaled to look for any residual deposits and after that polished.
