If you have a missing tooth or teeth, you know the embarrassment and pain this can trigger. You have probably been investigating methods you can restore your smile and excellent bite. We think you will be extremely interested to know that at our practice, you have the ability to get same day crowns! It is a comfortable one-day procedure!

Our entire dental practice is advanced, except for our patient care and concern which is traditional. We know the discomfort missing teeth can cause clients, and therefore we are really pleased to be able to provide clients with same day crowns.

Dental crowns are used to enhance a tooth, and return it to its initial function. Dental crowns are made to color-match the nearby teeth, so they can not be detected by others as being anything less than a permanent tooth. With a dental crown, you have the ability to eat anything you like, and your clear speech will never ever be disrupted. In fact, your dental crown is so natural feeling, you will not even know it is there in your mouth.

Same day crowns are a very interesting offering of our practice. We are able to have you with a lovely brand-new smile in simply one day. Our office has advanced devices that allows dental practitioners to provide you with crowns in simply a small portion of the time that was needed before.

CAD/CAM technology is what makes this amazing advancement possible. The acronym represents computer-aided design/computed-aided manufacturing. We have the ability to use this innovation in our system. This system is used to restore teeth, start to finish, in one day. This will save you from an additional visit to our practice, a week or so later. We're sure you have far more amazing things you would rather do with your time than to sit in our dental practitioner's chair any longer than you have to!

Using our new system, we scan the readied tooth in your mouth or from an impression, and after that send out the info to our in-office milling station. The restoration is computer-milled to the precise specifications to fit your mouth in minutes. When the crown is crated, we put it in your mouth, and color, polish and restore your brand-new tooth to a gorgeous and natural-looking luster. This technology can also be used for same-day veneers or inlays.

If you require a crown in a hurry, for an upcoming social or company occasion, this process may undoubtedly be perfect for you. If you are interested in learning more about this process, contact us today for a consultation.

Today's Conversation Is About:

Porcelain Veneers (Teeth)

Veneers are a very thin pieces of resilient, tooth shaped, porcelain that are customizeded (for shape and color) by a professional dental laboratory. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a gorgeous and attractive smile.

Veneers can completely improve your teeth and smile. They can often be alternatives to crowns and the ideal option in treating lots of cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

Just like the majority of dental restorations, veneers might someday require replacement; however, they are still very durable and will last many years, offering you a long lasting, gorgeous smile.

How Are Veneers Applied?

Veneers are a dental treatment in which a covering is put over the outside (noticeable area) of the tooth. Veneers are usually only done to the part of the teeth that are seen when talking or grinning. The procedure can be direct or indirect.

The direct technique normally involves placing composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This approach is normally referred to as bonding.

The indirect method typically involves 2 appointments because the veneers will be made at a dental lab. At the very first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are given a temporary covering. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the lab, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The laboratory made veneers are usually made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are really esthetic.

The benefit of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is removed, and the procedure is typically less unpleasant. Veneers are not suggested for teeth that have big fillings or little tooth structure.

You will receive care guidelines for your veneers. Correct brushing, flossing and routine dental visits will help in the life of your brand-new and lovely veneers.
