DENTAL CROWN SAME DAY

Obtain A Perfect Smile With Same Day Crowns

Same Day Crowns resolve aesthetic needs, fix tooth function, and enhance the overall health of your mouth. In cases where teeth have big broken down fillings, a crown can secure and maintain the rest of the natural tooth.

To boost your smile, a metal-free, tooth-colored same day crown can also replace an older metal or porcelain crown. Following root canal treatment, a crown is typically placed over the remaining tooth structure to protect aesthetic and tooth function.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.

CEREC can be used in a wide scope of indications: veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns and anterior crowns.

Today's Topic Will Be:

Ultra Sonic Tooth Cleaning

We use ultrasonic scalers for many adult dental cleanings. These devices use ultrasonic vibrations to help breakdown the plaque and calculus on the teeth that trigger gingivitis and periodontal disease. The ultrasonic cleaners create tiny bubbles that implode on the surface of the tooth, eliminating microorganisms and removing plaque and tartar at the same time. Our instruments use a thin tip to better navigate in the periodontal pockets to help keep optimal gingival health.

  • The procedure only uses water, no chemicals are used.

  • It can remove tartar buildup in hard-to-reach areas, without any damage to the tooth enamel.

  • Manual scaling often uses pressure for cleaning, while the vibration produced by the scaling tip of an ultrasonic scaler is barely noticeable. This makes ultrasonic cleaning ideal to those with sensitive teeth.

  • The cleaning process is much faster than manual scaling making your visit more comfy.

After your teeth have actually been cleaned with the ultrasonic cleaner, your teeth will be hand scaled to check for any residual deposits and then polished.
