If you have a missing tooth or teeth, you know the humiliation and pain this can trigger. You have most likely been examining ways you can restore your smile and excellent bite. We believe you will be extremely interested to know that at our practice, you are able to receive same day crowns! It is a comfortable one-day treatment!

Our entire dental practice is advanced, except for our patient care and issue which is traditional. We understand the discomfort missing teeth can cause patients, and therefore we are really pleased to be able to provide clients with same day crowns.

Dental crowns are used to strengthen a tooth, and return it to its initial function. Dental crowns are made to color-match the adjacent teeth, so they can not be identified by others as being anything less than a long-term tooth. With a dental crown, you are able to eat anything you like, and your clear speech will never ever be interrupted. In fact, your dental crown is so natural feeling, you will not even know it is there in your mouth.

Same day crowns are a very exciting offering of our practice. We have the ability to supply you with a beautiful new smile in simply one day. Our office has state-of-the-art equipment that allows dentists to supply you with crowns in simply a small portion of the time that was needed in the past.

CAD/CAM technology is what makes this interesting advancement possible. The acronym means computer-aided design/computed-aided manufacturing. We are able to use this innovation in our system. This system is used to fix teeth, start to finish, in one day. This will save you from an additional appointment to our practice, a week or so later. We're sure you have far more exciting things you would rather do with your time than to sit in our dental practitioner's chair any longer than you have to!

Using our new system, we scan the prepared tooth in your mouth or from an impression, and then send out the details to our in-office milling station. The restoration is computer-milled to the specific specifications to fit your mouth in minutes. As soon as the crown is crated, we put it in your mouth, and color, polish and restore your brand-new tooth to a lovely and natural-looking luster. This technology can also be used for same-day veneers or inlays.

If you need a crown in a hurry, for an upcoming social or business event, this procedure may indeed be perfect for you. If you have an interest in finding out more about this process, call us today for a visit.

Today's Topic Is About:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a treatment where we apply a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be utilized in certain scenarios where a tooth has been broken or become stained. These are typically small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this reasonably inexpensive means instead of through a more expensive dental treatment.

How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the positioning of the tooth, close spaces between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material adheres to the surface. Then the material itself is put on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to get a glossy finish as a last step.
