Single Visit Crowns In Only One Visit

If you pick same day crowns, your experience will be rather different.
Instead of goopy impressions, our dentist will use a thin layer of reflective powder to your tooth and will take images of your tooth. Your brand-new crown is then made right here at our office from a piece of ceramic. There is no metal in your crown.

While your crown is being made, you are free to wait and enjoy our dental spa. You may choose to have other dental work done throughout this time.

After your ceramic crown is made, it is bonded to your tooth using state of the art adhesive dentistry. Done and done!

You do not require multiple appointments. Simply one trip and you leave with your permanent crown! Now that should give you something to smile about!

If you have been thinking about a crown, talk with us about it today.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital imagery of locations requiring restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a full scope of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

Today's Topic Is:

Dental Dentures

There are different types of dentures, but they share their common function. They replace teeth that have become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is great enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. No one enjoys losing their natural teeth, however you can still eat and talk regularly.

The whole mouth is examined and a determination is made as to which teeth will have to be removed, and which will stay. The loose teeth are then removed. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth remain in the mouth, depending on the type. There is an adjustment time after dentures are put in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. But once accustomed to the dentures, all the normal performance and look return and one simply carries on as usual. Often implants can be used to further stabilize the dentures.

It is necessary to keep in mind that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a major lifestyle change when compared with natural teeth. Dentures impact the kind of food you are able to eat, your confidence in social circumstances, and even your self-confidence.

A Couple Reasons For Getting A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the very same arch

  • Restore chewing capability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other treatments

An upper full denture will often feel better than a lower complete denture. In order to dramatically improve the fit of a lower full denture, we often suggest using dental implants as a retentive mechanism. 2 dental implants positioned in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and significantly improve comfort. Sometimes, the implants can even be positioned in the jaw after a denture has been in use for numerous years.
