Single Visit Dental Crowns With Advanced Technology

We strive to stay current with the multitude of technological advances that are taking place in dentistry. We are proud to have the same day crown innovation in our office. It allows us to produce crowns and larger restorations in our office. Same day crowns use the most advanced dental technology, consisting of 3D video imaging and CAD/CAM innovation. In layman's terms, it is a computer-designed restoration for your tooth. The whole procedure takes between 1-2 hours and can be completed in one sitting.

Usually, a crown in the past would have required two appointments. The first visit includes preparing the tooth, taking the mold, and fitting a short-term crown. Throughout the 2nd visit, the temporary crown is replaced with the long-term one. With a same day crown, the entire procedure can be completed in simply one visit. We will use video imaging technology to take a photo of the tooth and use CAD/CAM technology to design the crown. This 3D design is wirelessly transferred to a milling machine that sculpts the restoration from a vacuum formed ceramic block. We will then adhere the brand-new crown to your tooth. This eliminates the need to get a short-term as well as a second visit.

Corrective dentistry procedures can be extremely important to the overall health of your teeth and mouth. Please call our office and request a visit.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital imagery of areas needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used for a broad range of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

The Topic Of The Day Will Be:

Dentures (Dental)

There are various types of dentures, however they share their common function. They replace teeth that have actually become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is big enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. No one enjoys losing their natural teeth, however you can still eat and talk regularly.

The whole mouth is examined and a decision is made regarding which teeth will need to be removed, and which will remain. The loose teeth are then removed. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth stay in the mouth, depending on the type. There is an adjustment period after dentures are positioned in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. But once accustomed to the dentures, all the regular performance and look return and one just carries on as usual. Commonly implants can be used to further support the dentures.

It is necessary to keep in mind that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a major lifestyle change when compared with natural teeth. Dentures affect the kind of food you have the ability to eat, your self-esteem in social scenarios, as well as your self-esteem.

A Few Reasons For Considering A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the same arch

  • Restore chewing capability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other treatments

An upper full denture will usually feel much better than a lower complete denture. In order to significantly improve the fit of a lower complete denture, we often suggest using dental implants as a retentive mechanism. Two dental implants positioned in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and significantly improve comfort. Sometimes, the implants can even be placed in the jaw after a denture has been in use for multiple years.
