Single Visit Crowns Near You

Needing any kind of dental work completed can feel like a hassel, but it is necessary to follow up on when it comes to preserving your oral health. Some people may postpone going to their dentist or having particular dental procedures finished simply because they think that the ordeal may take up too much of their time. When it comes to same day dental crowns that is just not the case, as we can provide our patients with same day dental crowns should they require it.

Although dental crowns are considered along with other procedures that fall under the cosmetic dentistry category, they can help to greatly enhance any individual's oral health. Dental crowns are primarily used to restore the size, shape, and function of a tooth. Most frequently, dental crowns are used following a root canal therapy procedure in which a part of the tooth mass is removed in order to get rid of decayed parts of the tooth. A dental crown is then used to help restore exactly what parts of the tooth were lost so that it can function as it once did, restoring the oral well being of the client.

Sometimes, dental crowns take time to process and are crafted in a laboratory while the client wears a short-term crown in its stead. Now we can offer clients with same day dental crowns! Instead of needing to visit us multiple times before restoring your tooth, we can offer you with a crown the very same day that you come in to get one fitted.

If you need a dental crown, you will not need to wait and set up several visits. Our staff and dentists will offer you with all the services that you require in a single visit to work around your busy schedule. Do not let your dental health go forgotten because you do not have the time. If you wish to find out more about same day dental crowns, call us and schedule an appointment today.

Today's Subject Is:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a procedure in which we apply a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be used in specific circumstances where a tooth has been broken or become stained. These are normally small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this reasonably inexpensive methods rather than through a more costly dental procedure.

Here Is How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to modify the positioning of the tooth, close spaces in between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material sticks to the surface. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to obtain a glossy finish as a last step.
