  • Time: Same day crowns are made in one appointment, saving you significant time away from your job and family.

  • Convenience: With same day crowns, there is no requirement for a temporary crown, eliminating substantial potential pain.

  • Aesthetic appeals: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic materials of same day crowns restore your teeth to their natural strength, charm, and function, and carefully match the composition of your natural tooth structure.

  • Strength: Milled ceramic is stronger than the traditional technique of layering and pressing, so your smile will remain gorgeous for multiple years!

  • Fillings: Same day crown material and technology can also be used for fillings. Because these fillings are constructed of porcelain, they are longer lasting than white composite fillings.

Today Were Talking About:

Dental Implants

A dental implant is a metal device designed to replace missing teeth. The device is generally constructed out of titanium and is surgically put into the jawbone where the teeth are missing. An implant is permanent, unlike a dental bridge.

Crowns and conventional bridges or dentures might not be your only options when replacing missing teeth. For some people, dental implants provide a smile that looks and feels extremely natural. Surgically put below the gums over a series of visits, implants fuse to the jawbone and work as a base for bridges or a denture, individual replacement teeth.

Implants provide stability since they fuse to your bone, a procedure called osseointegration. Integration of these implants into your jaw also helps your replacement teeth feel more natural and some people also find the secure fit is more comfortable than conventional substitutes. Candidates for dental implants need to have healthy gums and adequate bone to support the implant.

How Involving Is A Dental Implant?

A dental implant might be an option to replace a missing tooth. In this treatment, a little titanium shaft is surgically {placed|implanted into the bone and allowed to set. The bone grows around it forming a tight connection, which in addition slows or stops the bone loss that takes place when the root of a natural tooth is missing. Once the implant is firmly set in the mouth, the dental practitioner then works to attach the replacement tooth onto the top of the shaft. This permanent solution has the advantages over bridge work that it does not stress the surrounding teeth for support, and, should the tooth break, another can merely be replaced on the shaft.

Implants can also be utilized as support as part of an implant bridge. This is an alternative to partial dentures, and has a number of benefits. First, there is no modification period to acclimatize the client who, once the work is done, only feels teeth, not metal supports intruding into the mouth. Second, this slows the bone loss occasioned by missing teeth. Third, there is no discomfort or trouble in eating. And, best of all, of course, they do not need to be taken out all the time.
