Set up an appointment for same day crowns in our office today. Our office is pleased to have the current technology for same day crowns.

We always stay on the cutting-edge for our valued clients!

What Are Single Visit Dental Crowns?

It is a innovation for fixing broken teeth, and this restoration can be finished in a single visit to our office. It makes your teeth stronger and more gorgeous - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the top-quality ceramic material and is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

During your appointment, you and your dental practitioner will discuss the details of the treatment and your dentist will address any concerns you may have regarding the procedure or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dental practitioner will then use a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a unique 3D imaging camera to take a picture of your tooth. Using the new proprietary software, your restoration will be developed according to your tooth's suitable shape and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to produce your restoration out of a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using cutting edge adhesive dentistry.

Today's Subject Will Be:

Tooth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the top aesthetic concern of a lot of patients, there are multiple ways to lighten teeth. The most popular method is using a home tooth lightening system that will lighten teeth considerably. Since tooth bleaching only works on natural tooth enamel, it is very important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after lightening so they will match the freshly bleached teeth.

Most dentists utilize multiple techniques: custom made tray bleaching, professional strength white strips, and in-office bleaching.

The tray approach involves having impressions taken, which the laboratory makes into customized vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole process takes about a week of daily use. 3 different strengths of gel may be used, however, the higher the strength, the greater the possibility of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray method is advised for badly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take multiple months of use to see substantial color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a very fast and convenient lightening procedure. The visit is around one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our patients like this treatment because it is so easy and quick!

Tooth lightening is not permanent. A touch-up may be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays must be used every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of outer tooth layer.

  • Florousis (excessive fluoridation throughout tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, and so on).
