Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns implied coming into the dentist's office a minimum of two times. The very first check-up involved getting an impression of your tooth and a temporary crown. Then, a couple of weeks later, a 2nd check-up permitted the short-term crown to be removed and a new permanent crown to be placed on your tooth. We use the latest technology making dental work easier for you and your day to day schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a state-of-the-art same day crown innovation to develop ceramic onlays and crowns that fit perfectly, in just one visit with a small camera to develop a 3D image of the tooth that has to be repaired. This means a physical mold, which is unpleasant and time consuming, is no longer needed.

Using CAD/CAM software, We develop a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling machine. This technology can produce the new restoration in as little as 15 minutes.

The restoration is stuck to your tooth using a bonding product, and the brand-new addition will match your natural teeth so nobody will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today for more information about same day crowns innovation, and take care of those problems you may have been avoiding.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital imagery of areas needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.

CEREC can be used in a full scope of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

Today's Conversation Will Be About:

Dental Bonding (Composite)

Bonding is a procedure where we apply a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be used in certain circumstances where a tooth has been broken or ended up being stained. These are normally minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this relatively inexpensive methods instead of through a more expensive dental procedure.

Here Is How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to alter the alignment of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material sticks to the surface area. Then the material itself is placed on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to get a shiny finish as a last step.
