Thanks to innovative modern technologies, we are proud to present the capability to provide you with same day crowns - that's right, a brand-new crown in simply one visit! Here's how it works.

First, high resolution digital 3-D impressions are taken with a little camera, a unique camera developed just for this function.

Step 2, the new software assesses the whole image and uses the results to compute a variety of excellent restoration possibilities. Next those possibilities are assessed and improved by the dentist and the last restoration strategy is chosen.

Finally your brand-new crown is milled by the cerec device right in our office and put in your mouth, all in one visit!

If you would like to know more about the same day crown treatment, call our office and we would be more than happy to help you.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital imagery of areas requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used for a wide range of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

Today We Will Be Reviewing:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.

Detecting issues with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, pricey treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mainly used to find:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Big on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.

Digital radiography has greatly improved the practice of dentistry. It allows the client and the doctor to see pictures of the teeth in higher resolution on a large format for much easier detection of issues, all while reducing the radiation direct exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available instantly after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also enables us to send out and get your images electronically for consultation that can be presented to you rapidly.
