Same Day Tooth Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.
CEREC can be used for a broad range of indications: veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns and anterior crowns.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.
Identifying problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, costly treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mainly utilized to discover:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of exposure to excess radiation is removed.
Large on-screen X-rays make patient communication more effective. The instant observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.
Digital radiography has greatly improved the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the doctor to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a big format for much easier detection of issues, all while decreasing the radiation direct exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available instantly after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also enables us to send and get your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
