The Advantages Of Getting Same Day Crowns Are:

  • It is time-saving. It enables you to have your dental crown put in place in simply one dental visit.

  • Its material is biocompatible. Same day crowns use ceramic which imitates the look of your natural teeth therefore making it visually pleasing. It does not cause temperature sensitivity which is true in the case of dental crowns made from metals.

  • It is durable. Same day crowns have the same sturdiness as those made from gold materials.

  • It is more accurate. The impression made from this new innovation is more precise as compared to traditional impressions.

  • Taking dental impression is more comfortable. Same day crowns use intraoral camera and CAD to take the impression of the tooth while standard dental impression is done using sodium alignate.

The only disadvantage of a same day crown is that not all clients are candidates for this treatment. Clients with substantial tooth damage that has reached the gum line requires a standard crown instead of a same day crown. Also, the damage in the front tooth requires a laboratory-manufactured crown because they are thoroughly made than same day crowns.

The Conversation For Today Is:

Ultra Sonic Cleanings

We use ultrasonic scalers for the majority of adult dental cleanings. These devices use ultrasonic vibrations to help breakdown the plaque and calculus on the teeth that cause gingivitis and gum disease. The ultrasonic cleaners create microscopic bubbles that implode on the surface of the tooth, eliminating microbes and eliminating plaque and tartar at the same time. Our instruments use a thin tip to better navigate in the gum pockets to help maintain optimal gingival health.

  • The treatment only uses water, no chemicals are used.

  • It can get rid of tartar buildup in hard-to-reach areas, with no damage to the tooth enamel.

  • Manual scaling frequently uses pressure for cleaning, while the vibration produced by the scaling tip of an ultrasonic scaler is barely noticeable. This makes ultrasonic cleaning appropriate to those with vulnerable teeth.

  • The cleaning procedure is much faster than manual scaling making your visit more comfortable.

After your teeth have actually been cleaned with the ultrasonic cleaner, your teeth will be hand scaled to check for any residual deposits then polished.
