Same Day Dental Crowns In Only One Visit

If you choose same day crowns, your experience will be quite different.
Instead of goopy impressions, our dentist will apply a thin layer of reflective powder to your tooth and will take photos of your tooth. Your new crown is then made right here at our office from a piece of ceramic. There is no metal in your crown.

While your crown is being made, you are free to wait and enjoy our dental spa. You might decide to have other dental work done throughout this time.

After your ceramic crown is made, it is bonded to your tooth using cutting-edge adhesive dentistry. Done and done!

You don't require multiple trips. Just one trip and you go home with your long-term crown! Now that should give you something to smile about!

If you have been considering a crown, talk to us about it today.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a wide scope of indications: veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns and anterior crowns.

Today We Will Be Discussing:

Tooth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the top aesthetic concern of the majority of clients, there are a number of ways to lighten teeth. The most popular technique is utilizing a home tooth bleaching system that will bleach teeth significantly. Since tooth bleaching just works on natural tooth enamel, it is very important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after lightening so they will match the freshly bleached teeth.

Most dentists use multiple methods: customizeded tray lightening, professional strength white strips, and in-office lightening.

The tray method involves having impressions taken, which the lab produces into custom vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole procedure takes about a week of day-to-day use. 3 different strengths of gel might be used, however, the greater the strength, the greater the possibility of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray approach is suggested for badly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take a number of months of use to see substantial color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a really fast and practical lightening procedure. The visit is approximately one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our patients enjoy this treatment because it is so simple and fast!

Tooth bleaching is not permanent. A touch-up might be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays need to be used every couple of months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of outer tooth layer.

  • Florousis (excessive fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
