Our practice likes new innovations, particularly when it improves the dental care that we can supply to our patients. Because of this we now provide same day crowns.

Same day crowns are a fantastic new technology where gorgeous all porcelain crowns are created within 2 hours of the preparation of a tooth for a crown. The old procedure was where the dental practitioner prepared your tooth for a crown, took an impression and sent this impression to a lab to get the crown constructed. During this time the patient would need to wear a temporary plastic crown that was normally uncomfy.

Today, our devices enables us to scan the tooth preparation and mill out a brand-new all porcelain crown within two hours. This means that the client leaves our practice with the final crown that day!

  • There's no need to wear a short-term crown for 2 or 3 weeks.

  • There's no need to return again to have the single day crown inserted on your tooth.

  • There is no need to be numbed up once more! No more shots!

Our practice likes same day crowns due to the fact that it is made of lovely material as well as extremely durable.

If your interested in a same day crown, please give our office a call.

Today Were Discussing:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Identifying problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, costly procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mostly used to find:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The worry of exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Large on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.

Digital radiography has greatly improved the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the doctor to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a large format for easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available quickly after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent establishing and mounting x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also allows us to send and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be provided to you rapidly.
