Temporary crowns and second visits for crowns are now typically unnecessary thanks to the same day crown innovation. We offer this amazing one-visit crown innovation in our office, adding higher convenience to the process of getting a crown. The waiting time between your treatment and when you get your long-term crown is eliminated.

The same day crown technology is an instrument that allows ceramic restorations (crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays) to be performed in one check-up instead of 2. The computer collaborates with a wireless digital camera allowing the dentist to make digital impressions without the annoyance of bulky impression material.

After taking the picture the computer takes control and mills your custom crown immediately so that we can cement your brand-new crown that very same day. The results we see are remarkable. With the same day crowns, the strength, aesthetics, and fit of the ceramic restorations are outstanding.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of locations requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a wide range of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

Today Were Talking About:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Spotting issues with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, pricey treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mostly utilized to detect:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Big on-screen X-rays make patient communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.

Digital radiography has significantly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the client and the medical professional to see images of the teeth in higher resolution on a large format for much easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation direct exposure to the patient. The process we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available instantly after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent establishing and installing x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also allows us to send out and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you rapidly.
