The Advantages Of Using Same Day Crowns Are:

  • It is time-saving. It permits you to have your dental crown put in place in simply one dental visit.

  • Its material is biocompatible. Same day crowns use ceramic which mimics the look of your natural teeth thus making it aesthetically pleasing. It does not trigger temperature sensitivity which holds true in the case of dental crowns made from metals.

  • It is durable. Same day crowns have the same durability as those made from gold materials.

  • It is more precise. The impression made from this brand-new innovation is more accurate compared with traditional impressions.

  • Taking dental impression is more comfortable. Same day crowns use intraoral camera and CAD to take the impression of the tooth while standard dental impression is done using salt alignate.

The only downside of a single visit crown is that not all clients are candidates for this procedure. Clients with substantial tooth damage that has reached the gum line needs a standard crown instead of a same day crown. Also, the damage in the front tooth requires a laboratory-manufactured crown due to the fact that they are meticulously made than same day crowns.

If you are interested with this sort of procedure or you have additional questions or concerns relating to same day crowns, call us today.

Today's Topic Will Be:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.

Spotting problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, pricey treatments or surgeries. X-rays are primarily used to find:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The worry of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Large on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.

Digital radiography has greatly improved the practice of dentistry. It allows the client and the medical professional to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a large format for much easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation direct exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available immediately after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also allows us to send and get your images digitally for consultation that can be provided to you rapidly.
