If you have a fractured or damaged tooth, are experiencing pain when chewing or exposed to hot or cold temperatures, or wish to remove unsightly metal crowns or fillings, then dental crowns might be an excellent choice for you. Dental Crowns cover the outter surface of the affected tooth, adding toughness and stability to it.

Same-day dental crowns are an option that we offer on a case by case basis to clients who would gain from the procedure. They allow patients to come to our office and leave within a couple hours with their permanent dental crown in place that same day. This removes the need to have a temporary crown placed and then another appointment scheduled for the positioning of the permanent crown.

Our Same-Day Crowns are made with our brand-new innovation that scans the mouth to get the appropriate measurements of your tooth and surrounding teeth, and then makes your crown right there in the office. These restorations are very strong and durable and made out of the highest quality porcelain available. Sometimes, a gold crown might be advised for your posterior teeth (back teeth) if you grind or clench your teeth a lot.

Gold crowns are different from porcelain crowns, and the cost may differ between the two and you may want to discuss your budget plan too with the your dentist. Your dental practitioner will go over with you the kinds of crowns available and give you a recommendation based on your specific scenario.

Call us to set up a complimentary cosmetic consultation. We look forward to talking to you.

Today We Will Be Talking About:

Dental Dentures

There are various types of dentures, but they share their common function. They replace teeth that have become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is big enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. No one enjoys losing their natural teeth, but you can still eat and talk regularly.

The whole mouth is examined and a decision is made as to which teeth will have to be removed, and which will remain. The loose teeth are then extracted. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth remain in the mouth, depending upon the type. There is an adjustment period after dentures are put in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. But once accustomed to the dentures, all the regular capability and look return and one simply carries on as usual. Often implants can be used to further stabilize the dentures.

It is essential to keep in mind that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a significant lifestyle change when compared to natural teeth. Dentures affect the type of food you are able to eat, your self-esteem in social circumstances, and even your self-confidence.

A Couple Reasons For Getting A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the same arch

  • Restore chewing ability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other procedures

An upper complete denture will often feel better than a lower complete denture. In order to dramatically enhance the fit of a lower full denture, we regularly suggest utilizing dental implants as a retentive mechanism. Two dental implants placed in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and substantially enhance comfort. In some cases, the implants can even be placed in the jaw after a denture has been in use for a number of years.
