If you have a missing tooth or teeth, you know the embarrassment and discomfort this can cause. You have most likely been examining methods you can restore your smile and great bite. We think you will be really interested to know that at our practice, you have the ability to receive same day crowns! It is a comfortable one-day treatment!

Our entire dental practice is cutting edge, except for our client care and concern which is traditional. We understand the discomfort missing teeth can cause clients, and therefore we are very happy to be able to provide patients with same day crowns.

Dental crowns are used to strengthen a tooth, and return it to its initial function. Dental crowns are made to color-match the adjacent teeth, so they can not be identified by others as being anything less than a long-term tooth. With a dental crown, you are able to eat anything you like, and your clear speech will never ever be disrupted. In fact, your dental crown is so natural feeling, you will not even know it exists in your mouth.

Same day crowns are an extremely interesting offering of our practice. We are able to provide you with a lovely new smile in just one day. Our office has cutting edge equipment that enables dental practitioners to offer you with crowns in simply a small portion of the time that was needed in the past.

CAD/CAM technology is what makes this amazing development possible. The acronym represents computer-aided design/computed-aided manufacturing. We are able to use this technology in our system. This system is used to restore teeth, start to finish, in one day. This will save you from an additional appointment to our practice, a week or two later. We're sure you have much more amazing things you would rather do with your time than to sit in our dental practitioner's chair any longer than you need to!

Using our new system, we scan the prepared tooth in your mouth or from an impression, and after that send out the information to our in-office milling station. The restoration is computer-milled to the exact specifications to fit your mouth in minutes. As soon as the crown is crated, we place it in your mouth, and color, polish and restore your brand-new tooth to a lovely and natural-looking radiance. This technology can also be used for same-day veneers or inlays.

If you require a crown in a hurry, for an upcoming social or company event, this process might indeed be ideal for you. If you have an interest in finding out more about this process, call us today for an appointment.

Today's Discussion Is About:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Spotting problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, expensive treatments or surgeries. X-rays are primarily utilized to spot:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Big on-screen X-rays make client communication more efficient. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.

Digital radiography has significantly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the doctor to see images of the teeth in higher resolution on a large format for easier detection of issues, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the patient. The process we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available immediately after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also allows us to send and receive your images electronically for consultation that can be presented to you rapidly.
