Thanks to innovative modern innovations, we are proud to present the capability to offer you with same day crowns - that's right, a brand-new crown in simply one visit! Here's how it works.

Step One, high resolution digital 3-D impressions are taken with a small camera, a special camera created just for this purpose.

Then, the brand-new software evaluates the entire image and uses the results to calculate a number of exceptional restoration possibilities. Next those possibilities are assessed and fine-tuned by the dentist and the final restoration strategy is chosen.

Lastly your brand-new crown is made by the cerec machine right in our office and put in your mouth, all in one appointment!

If you would like to know more about the same day crown procedure, call our office and we would be happy to help you.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used in a full scope of indications: inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns and veneers.

The Conversation For Today Will Be:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Detecting problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, expensive procedures or surgeries. X-rays are primarily utilized to find:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Huge on-screen X-rays make patient communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.

Digital radiography has greatly improved the practice of dentistry. It enables the client and the doctor to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a big format for easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the patient. The process we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available instantly after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also enables us to send and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you rapidly.
