Same Day Crowns Near You

Requiring any type of dental work completed can feel like a chore, but it is necessary to follow up on when it pertains to preserving your oral health. Some people may postpone visiting their dentist or having particular dental procedures finished merely because they think that the experience might take up too much of their time. When it comes to same day dental crowns that is simply not the case, as we can provide our patients with same day dental crowns should they require it.

Although dental crowns are considered along with other procedures that fall under the cosmetic dentistry category, they can help to significantly enhance any individual's oral health. Dental crowns are primarily used to restore the size, shape, and function of a tooth. Most frequently, dental crowns are used following a root canal therapy treatment in which a part of the tooth mass is removed in order to get rid of decayed portions of the tooth. A dental crown is then used to help restore what parts of the tooth were lost so that it can function as it once did, restoring the oral well being of the patient.

In some cases, dental crowns require time to process and are crafted in a lab while the patient wears a temporary crown in its stead. Now we can offer clients with same day dental crowns! Instead of having to visit us a number of times before restoring your tooth, we can offer you with a crown the very same day that you come in to get one fitted.

If you need a dental crown, you will not have to wait and arrange several visits. Our staff and dentists will provide you with all the services that you need in a single appointment to work around your busy schedule. Do not let your dental health go forgotten due to the fact that you do not have the time. If you want to find out more about same day dental crowns, call us and arrange an appointment today.

Today's Topic Will Be:

Teeth Veneers (Porcelain)

Veneers are a very thin pieces of long lasting, tooth shaped, porcelain that are custom made (for shape and color) by a professional dental laboratory. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to produce a beautiful and attractive smile.

Veneers can completely reshape your teeth and smile. They can typically be alternatives to crowns and the ideal option in treating many cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

As with many dental restorations, veneers might someday require replacement; however, they are still extremely durable and will last years, offering you a long lasting, beautiful smile.

How Are Veneers Applied?

Veneers are a dental treatment where a covering is placed over the outside (noticeable area) of the tooth. Veneers are normally only done to the part of the teeth that are seen when talking or grinning. The treatment can be direct or indirect.

The direct strategy generally involves positioning composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This technique is typically referred to as bonding.

The indirect method usually involves 2 visits because the veneers will be fabricated at a dental lab. At the first appointment the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are provided a short-term covering. In 2 to 3 weeks the veneers are back from the lab, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The lab produced veneers are generally made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are very esthetic.

The advantage of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is removed, and the procedure is generally less uncomfortable. Veneers are not suggested for teeth that have huge fillings or little tooth structure.

You will receive care directions for your veneers. Proper brushing, flossing and regular dental visits will help in the life of your brand-new and stunning veneers.
