Same Day Crowns Near You

We are your local dentist for single-visit tooth restorations. Why go to the dental practitioner a 2nd time if you don't have to? One appointment, one shot and no impressions. Set up an appointment for same day crowns in our office today. Our office is pleased to have the current technology for same day crowns.

We always remain on the cutting-edge for our valued patients!

What Are Single Day Crowns?

It is a technology for fixing damaged teeth, and this restoration can be completed in a single visit to our office. It makes your teeth tougher and more stunning - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the state-of-the-art ceramic material and is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

Throughout your visit, you and your dental practitioner will go over the details of the procedure and your dentist will answer any questions you might have relating to the procedure or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dentist will then apply a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a unique 3D imaging camera to take a photo of your tooth. Using the new exclusive software, your restoration will be developed according to your tooth's appropriate shape and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to produce your restoration from a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using cutting edge adhesive dentistry.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital imagery of locations requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a full scope of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

Today We Will Be Reviewing:

Root Canal

Root canal treatment (also described as root canal therapy or endodontic therapy) is required when a cavity is allowed, through neglect, to reach all the way to the root pulp. (Regular cleanings and checkups prevent and find issues early). Often deep restorations or trauma to a tooth might also cause the nerve to be harmed to the point it requires root canal treatment. As soon as this happens, the pulp ends up being infected, and can even extend through the root tip and begin to eat away at the surrounding bone (this is an abscess).

By the time the pulp is infected it needs to be treated, and can not heal on its own. It can even weaken the entire immune system. This is dangerous, and might be very painful. Symptoms that the pulp has become infected may consist of sensitivity to hot/cold or sugary foods, discomfort, swelling, pain to biting or pressure, and a bad taste in the mouth. Often, however, no signs are apparent and the person is unaware of any issue till a checkup.

A root canal is then carried out to clear out the infected tooth pulp, and sanitize the canals of the tooth. The only other treatment would be to extract the tooth. As soon as the infection is fixed, the canal(s) are filled in to prevent any further infection. Normally a core build-up and crown is recommended for restoring a tooth that has actually had root canal therapy.
