How Can Same Day Crowns Benefit Me?

With this brand-new innovation it enables dentists to custom-craft restorations in as little as one hour. With this, we can fabricate natural looking crowns, onlays, inlays, and veneers right here in our office while you relax. Now, there is no longer a need to make multiple appointments to the dental practitioner's office to be measured and fitted with temporary restorations - you can enjoy a dazzling, natural looking, and long lasting solution for your missing or damaged teeth today.

Initially, your dental practitioner will meet with you to talk about the information of the treatment. Throughout the procedure, the dental practitioner will apply a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a special camera to take a picture of your tooth.

Using the brand-new software, the picture acts as a map to create your tooth's restoration. Then, it will use a diamond bur and disk-work to develop your restoration piece out of ceramic.

Lastly, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using state-of-the-art adhesive dentistry.

It makes your teeth stronger and more gorgeous - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the state-of-the-art ceramic product works with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

The Conversation Of The Day Is:

Dental Bonding (Composite)

Bonding is a treatment in which we use a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be used in certain circumstances where a tooth has been damaged or ended up being stained. These are usually minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this relatively affordable means instead of through a more costly dental procedure.

How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the alignment of the tooth, close spaces between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material sticks to the surface area. Then the material itself is placed on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is shaped and polished to obtain a lustrous finish as a last step.
