Same Day Crowns Near You

We are your local dentist for single-visit tooth restorations. Why go to the dental practitioner a second time if you don't have to? One visit, one shot and no impressions. Set up a visit for same day crowns in our office today. Our office is pleased to have the most recent technology for same day crowns.

We always stay on the cutting-edge for our valued clients!

What Are Single Day Crowns?

It is a technology for restoring broken teeth, and this restoration can be finished in a single visit to our office. It makes your teeth stronger and more beautiful - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the high-grade ceramic material and works with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

During your visit, you and your dental practitioner will talk about the details of the procedure and your dentist will answer any concerns you may have concerning the treatment or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dentist will then use a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a unique 3D imaging camera to take a picture of your tooth. Using the brand-new exclusive software, your restoration will be designed according to your tooth's proper form and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to produce your restoration out of a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using advanced adhesive dentistry.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.

CEREC can be used in a full scope of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

The Conversation Of The Day Is:

Temporal-Mandibular Joint

TMJ stands for temporal-mandibular joint. Temporal, as in temple area of skull; mandibular as in mandible, or lower jaw; joint as in it's where the head and jaw meet. Issues in this joint might be brought on by a misalignment of the teeth, trauma, or excess muscle tension. Aside from the two bones that meet there, cartilage buffers them and five muscles are associated with the area. If something goes wrong a good deal of trouble can result.

Problems in this area can trigger:

  • Earaches.

  • Headaches.

  • Pain in the jaw muscles.

  • Trouble or soreness in opening and closing the mouth.

  • Soreness in the area, often extending to the face.

  • Clicking or popping of the jaw.

Dental treatments for the condition can consist of replacing missing teeth, moving teeth, adjusting the bite, filling gaps between teeth, etc. There is no one solution that is right for all cases. Sometimes a plastic mouthpiece is utilized to prevent clenching or grinding that is contributing to the problem. If neglected and taken to extremes, surgery may be required to fix a terribly damaged joint.
