Same Day Crowns Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.
CEREC can be utilized for a full range of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.
Detecting issues with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, pricey procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mostly utilized to identify:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.
Large on-screen X-rays make patient communication more efficient. The instant observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.
Digital radiography has significantly improved the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the physician to see pictures of the teeth in higher resolution on a large format for easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation direct exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available quickly after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also allows us to send out and get your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you rapidly.
