Why Are These Crowns Called Same Day Crowns?

This state-of-the-art innovation permits your dentist to take accurate pictures of your tooth and use those images to design, manufacture, and place a porcelain or zirconia crown in a single visit. Same day crowns provide unparalleled convenience, value, and accuracy to our clients.

How Does The Same Day Crown Technology Work?

The same day crown procedure consists of 3 fundamental steps. First, your dentist uses 3D imaging to take highly accurate photos of your tooth and the surrounding structures. Next, they then download these images into a computer and, using computer-assisted design software, develops your custom-fitted crown. 3rd, your dentist will send out the design to their in-office precision milling device which develops the crown out of a block of dental porcelain or zirconia. Once they stain and glaze the crown for additional strength and esthetics, your dental practitioner will position it on your tooth.

Exactly What Are The Benefits Of Same Day Crowns?

We only use dental porcelain and zirconia to develop our same day crowns. These metal-free restorations offer unparalleled strength, durability, chip and stain resistance, and natural charm.

Precision-fitted same day crowns need less tooth prep work and protect more of your tooth structure.

Traditional crowns need two office visits. With same day crowns, you can come into our dentist's office for an appointment and leave with a wonderfully fixed tooth.

You can avoid the trouble and potential risks connected with uncomfortable temporary crowns.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital imagery of areas needing restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.

CEREC can be used for a wide scope of indications: inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns and veneers.

Today's Subject Is:

Ultra Sonic Tooth Cleaning

We use ultrasonic scalers for the majority of adult dental cleanings. These devices use ultrasonic vibrations to help breakdown the plaque and calculus on the teeth that cause gingivitis and gum disease. The ultrasonic cleaners create microscopic bubbles that implode on the surface of the tooth, killing microorganisms and getting rid of plaque and tartar at the same time. Our instruments use a thin tip to better navigate in the periodontal pockets to help maintain optimal gingival health.

  • The procedure only uses water, no chemicals are used.

  • It can remove tartar buildup in hard-to-reach areas, with no damage to the tooth enamel.

  • Manual scaling frequently uses pressure for cleaning, while the vibration produced by the scaling tip of an ultrasonic scaler is hardly noticeable. This makes ultrasonic cleaning appropriate to those with vulnerable teeth.

  • The cleaning process is faster than manual scaling making your visit more comfortable.

After your teeth have been cleaned with the ultrasonic cleaner, your teeth will be hand scaled to check for any residual deposits and then polished.
