What Are Single Visit Dental Crowns?

The single visit crown is a innovation for restoring damaged teeth, and this restoration can be finished in a single visit to the dental practitioner's office. It makes your teeth stronger and more lovely, all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free, and the top-quality ceramic product works with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

More About The Same Day Crown Process

During your visit, you and your dentist will go over the details of the treatment and your dentist will address any questions you may have. Your dentist will then use a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a special 3D imaging camera to take a image of your tooth. Using the brand-new software, your restoration will be developed according to your tooth's appropriate form and function.

Then, the mill will use diamond burs to produce your restoration from a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using state-of-the-art adhesive dentistry.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of locations requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.

CEREC can be used in a full range of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

Today's Subject Will Be:

UltraSonic Teeth Cleaning

We use ultrasonic scalers for most adult dental cleanings. These devices utilize ultrasonic vibrations to help breakdown the plaque and calculus on the teeth that trigger gingivitis and gum disease. The ultrasonic cleaners develop tiny bubbles that implode on the surface of the tooth, eliminating microorganisms and getting rid of plaque and tartar at the same time. Our instruments use a thin tip to better navigate in the gum pockets to help maintain optimal gingival health.

  • The procedure only uses water, no chemicals are used.

  • It can get rid of tartar buildup in hard-to-reach locations, without any damage to the tooth enamel.

  • Manual scaling frequently uses pressure for cleaning, while the vibration produced by the scaling tip of an ultrasonic scaler is hardly perceptible. This makes ultrasonic cleaning suitable to those with vulnerable teeth.

  • The cleaning process is quicker than manual scaling making your visit more comfy.

After your teeth have actually been cleaned with the ultrasonic cleaner, your teeth will be hand scaled to check for any residual deposits and after that polished.
