Same Day Crowns

Crowns have long been an reliable restorative dentistry option for dental practitioners to benefit from, but the standard crown process takes two to three appointments to finish.

At our practice, though, our dental practitioners and our team can fix broken down teeth in simply a single visit with same-day crowns. Same day crowns use advanced technology to make the crown planning procedure easier, while the same day crown machine actually mills restorations itself using the details we've already gathered to create the custom-made restoration you need.

The milling procedure takes about an hour to finish and can be done while you rest comfortably in our office.

Our restorative dentistry team is ready to revitalize your smile and better your lifestyle. Using any of these restorative dentistry services alone or in combination with each other or another service, we prepared to help you to accomplish maximum dental health. Please make an appointment to our office today.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a broad range of indications: posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and partial crowns.

Today's Topic Is:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.

Detecting problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, pricey treatments or surgeries. X-rays are primarily used to identify:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Huge on-screen X-rays make patient communication more effective. The instant observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.

Digital radiography has significantly improved the practice of dentistry. It allows the patient and the doctor to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a large format for easier detection of issues, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available quickly after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also allows us to send and get your images digitally for consultation that can be provided to you rapidly.
