Is Your Day To Day Schedule Too Hectic For 2 Dental Visits?

Now we can rapidly restore damaged teeth in just one appointment to restore broken teeth with natural-looking ceramic crowns. In comparison to normal dentistry, which takes 2 complete visits in order to make a dental crown.

  • Less time in the dentist's chair!

  • No more messy impressions

  • No waiting weeks for your long-term crown

  • No need to get a short-term crown

  • Digitally matches the color of your tooth

What Is A Dental Crown?

A crown is a cap made to cover a tooth with the purpose of restoring it to its natural shapes and size or to improve its look. To get ready for the crown, dentists drill to eliminate the decayed area and also form the tooth to get ready for the crown for that portion which lies around and above the gum line.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a broad range of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

Today's Discussion Is About:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Detecting problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, costly treatments or surgeries. X-rays are primarily utilized to detect:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Big on-screen X-rays make client communication more efficient. The instant observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.

Digital radiography has significantly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the client and the doctor to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a large format for much easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation direct exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available instantly after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent establishing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also allows us to send out and get your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
