Why Choose Single Day Crowns?

There are many advantages of same day crowns over traditional crown technology.

  • Time: Same day crowns are made in one visit, saving you considerable time away from your job and family.

  • Convenience: With same day crowns, there is no requirement for a temporary crown, which removes significant potential pain and inconvenience of a lost short-term restoration. Only one appointment means only one injection, or no injections if the tooth was previously treated with a root canal. No standard impressions resulting in no gagging.

  • Visual appeals: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic materials of this new innovation restores your teeth to their natural durability, appeal, and function and closely match the composition of natural tooth structure.

  • Strength: Milled ceramic is stronger than the standard method of layering and pressing, so your smile will remain stunning for years!

  • Fillings: Same day crown material and innovation can also be used for fillings. Since they are constructed out of porcelain, they are more resilient than white composite fillings. They are much more aesthetic than mercury containing silver fillings and tougher because of bonding technology.

Dental Implants

A dental implant is a metal device designed to replace missing teeth. The device is typically constructed out of titanium and is surgically placed into the jawbone where the tooth is missing. An implant is permanent, unlike a dental bridge.

Crowns and conventional bridges or dentures may not be your only options when replacing missing teeth. For some people, dental implants provide a smile that feels and look very natural. Surgically put below the gums over a series of visits, implants connect to the jawbone and act as a base for bridges or a denture, individual replacement teeth.

Implants offer stability since they fuse to your bone, a process called osseointegration. Integration of these implants into your jaw also helps your replacement teeth feel more natural and some individuals also discover the secure fit is more comfortable than traditional substitutes. Candidates for dental implants need to have healthy gums and adequate bone to support the implant.

What Does A Dental Implant Involve?

A dental implant may be an option to replace a missing tooth. In this procedure, a little titanium shaft is surgically {placed|implanted into the bone and allowed to set. The bone grows around it forming a tight connection, which additionally slows or stops the bone loss that occurs when the root of a natural tooth is missing. As soon as the implant is securely embeded in the mouth, the dental practitioner then works to attach the replacement tooth onto the top of the shaft. This permanent option has the advantages over bridge work that it does not need the surrounding teeth for support, and, should the tooth wear out, another can simply be replaced on the shaft.

Implants can also be used as support as part of an implant bridge. This is an option to partial dentures, and has a number of benefits. First, there is no modification period to acclimatize the client who, as soon as the work is done, only feels teeth, not metal supports intruding into the mouth. Second, this slows the bone loss occasioned by missing teeth. Third, there is no discomfort or trouble in eating. And, best of all, of course, they do not have to be taken out all the time.
