Below are a few of the advantages of same day crown innovation, which crafts terrific same day dental crowns and same day inlays and onlays.

By far the best benefit of same day crown dental restoration innovation is the time you'll conserve. Typically, getting a dental restoration will include 2 separate visits to your dentist's office that are weeks apart. Multiple visits} are needed because the final dental restoration has to be crafted at an off-site dental lab. With same day crown innovation, dental restorations are crafted in-office. There's no need to get multiple days off work or rearrange your schedule. One visit is all you'll need.

Same Day Crowns Are Customized For Your Mouth

The same day crown machine uses the latest innovation to create a digital impression of your teeth. Using this three dimensional digital design, this device then creates a customized restoration that fits effortlessly with the damaged tooth and your adjacent teeth.

Same Day Crown Dental Restorations Are Resilient

Although same day crown restorations are crafted and produced on-site, the restorations themselves are extremely durable. In fact, the restorations that are crafted by these devices are approximately 3 times as strong as the dental restorations that are crafted at a dental laboratory.

They Look Natural

In addition to their strength and durability, same day crown dental restorations blend in flawlessly with your smile. The inlays and onlays from the same day crown machine have a sort of chameleon effect. When in place, they take on the color and distinct shadings of the fixed tooth, meaning that your smile will look great and, more significantly, look natural.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

TMJ (Temporal-Mandibular Joint)

TMJ means temporal-mandibular joint. Temporal, as in temple area of skull; mandibular as in mandible, or lower jaw; joint as in it's where the head and jaw meet. Issues in this joint may be caused by a misalignment of the teeth, injury, or excess muscle tension. Aside from the two bones that meet there, cartilage buffers them and 5 muscles are associated with the area. If something fails a good deal of trouble can result.

Problems in this area can cause:

  • Earaches.

  • Headaches.

  • Pain in the jaw muscles.

  • Trouble in opening and closing the mouth.

  • Soreness in the area, often extending to the face.

  • Clicking or popping of the jaw.

Dental treatments for the condition can consist of replacing missing teeth, moving teeth, adjusting the bite, filling spaces between teeth, etc. There is no one solution that is right for all cases. Sometimes a plastic mouth piece is used to prevent clenching or grinding that is contributing to the problem. If untreated and taken to extremes, surgery might be needed to repair a severely damaged joint.
