Temporary crowns and second visits for crowns are now generally unnecessary thanks to the same day crown technology. We offer this exciting one-visit crown technology in our office, adding greater convenience to the procedure of getting a crown. The waiting time between your treatment and when you get your long-term crown is eliminated.

The same day crown innovation is an instrument that permits ceramic restorations (veneers, inlays, onlays, and crowns) to be performed in one check-up instead of two. The computer coordinates with a digital camera enabling the dental practitioner to make digital impressions without the annoyance of bulky impression material.

After taking the picture the computer takes over and mills your custom crown right away so that we can cement your brand-new crown that very same day. The results we see are fantastic. With the same day crowns, the strength, aesthetics, and fit of the ceramic restorations are superb.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of locations requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a full range of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

Today's Conversation Has To Do With:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Discovering problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, pricey treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mostly used to identify:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Large on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.

Digital radiography has significantly improved the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the physician to see pictures of the teeth in higher resolution on a big format for much easier detection of issues, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available quickly after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also allows us to send out and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
