If you have a fractured or damaged tooth, are experiencing discomfort when chewing or exposed to hot or cold temperature levels, or wish to get rid of unsightly metal crowns or fillings, then dental crowns might be a great option for you. Dental Crowns cover the visible surface area of the affected tooth, adding durability and stability to it.

Same-day dental crowns are a choice that we provide on a case by case basis to clients who would gain from the treatment. They enable clients to come to our office and leave within a couple hours with their permanent dental crown in place that same day. This removes the need to have a short-term crown placed and then another visit set up for the placement of the permanent crown.

Our Same-Day Crowns are made with our new innovation that scans the mouth to get the appropriate measurements of your tooth and surrounding teeth, and then makes your crown right there in the office. These restorations are very strong and durable and made out of the highest quality porcelain available. In many cases, a gold crown might be recommended for your posterior teeth (back teeth) if you grind or clinch your teeth a lot.

Gold crowns are different from porcelain crowns, and the expense may differ between the two and you might wish to discuss your budget plan as well with the your dentist. Your dentist will discuss with you the kinds of crowns available and offer you a suggestion based on your particular situation.

Call us to schedule a complimentary cosmetic consultation. We look forward to talking to you.

Today's Discussion Will Be About:

Dentures (Dental)

There are different kinds of dentures, but they share their common function. They replace teeth that have become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is great enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. No one enjoys losing their natural teeth, but you can still eat and talk regularly.

The entire mouth is analyzed and a decision is made regarding which teeth will have to be removed, and which will stay. The loose teeth are then extracted. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth stay in the mouth, depending upon the type. There is an adjustment period after dentures are put in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. But once accustomed to the dentures, all the regular performance and look return and one simply continues as usual. Frequently implants can be utilized to further stabilize the dentures.

It is essential to keep in mind that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a major lifestyle change when compared to natural teeth. Dentures impact the kind of food you have the ability to eat, your confidence in social scenarios, and even your self-confidence.

Reasons For Getting A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the exact same arch

  • Restore chewing ability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other procedures

An upper complete denture will usually feel better than a lower full denture. In order to dramatically improve the fit of a lower complete denture, we regularly recommend using dental implants as a retentive mechanism. Two dental implants placed in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and considerably enhance comfort. In some cases, the implants can even be placed in the jaw after a denture has been in use for a number of years.
